My goal is to help scholars communicate complex thoughts in clear and compelling ways. I offer services in developmental editing, where I assist you in shaping your argument and research findings into a cohesive narrative. I also offer services in line editing, where I pay close attention to the clarity, style & voice, structure, and quality of your prose. I am also a writing coach and faculty coach who will support and motivate you through the challenges of your short term research projects and in pursuit of your long term academic goals. I understand the pressures of academia and can help you overcome any roadblocks you might encounter to being a productive academic writer.
Developmental Editor
I assist you in shaping your argument and research findings into a cohesive narrative.
I particularly love working with scholars who are engaged in race, class, gender, sexualities, intersectional, and other critical social justice work.

Line Editor
I pay close attention to the clarity, style & voice, structure, and quality of your prose. I format your manuscript and citations in APA, ASA, Chicago, or MLA Style. I also make suggestions for rewriting or reorganizing sentences or passages to make the text smoother and more grammatically correct.
$30-$40/hour
Writing Coach
I support and motivate you to make steady progress and complete your projects. I will work with you to set specific weekly and monthly goals and hold you accountable for meeting them.
My goal is to help you create a structure that will increase your productivity and help you become a better project manager of your own work.

Faculty Coach
I help junior faculty transition from graduate school into faculty roles. I provide services to help you navigate the job market, publication cycles, and the tenure process.
I am intimately acquainted with the pressures and politics of academia and will help you push through any roadblocks that come up, including dealing with Imposter Syndrome, writer’s block, tenure anxieties, and other issues that may block your productivity.
